Ms. Myla Villanueva to deliver a speech at CUEWB's International Forum, Beijing

Ms. Villanueva has kindly accepted CUEWB's invitation to speak at its Internation Forum, Beijing on 8 December 2007.

Cambridge, UK - 5 Nov. 2007 - Cambridge University Education Without Borders (CUEWB), a non-profit student association committed to sharing educational resources worldwide and breaking the barrier between academics and industry, is pleased to announce that Ms. Myla Villanueva, Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of MDI Group Holdings and Co-Founder and Managing Director of Novare Technologies, will deliver a speech at CUEWB's International Forum, Beijing on 8 December 2007.

Ms. Villanueva is the Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of MDI Group Holdings, a leading systems integrator representing Dell, Juniper, and Cisco and the Co-Founder and Partner of Novare Technologies. She is Member of Executive Management Committee (for Smart Communications), Director of Emerging Market Handset Development Fund, and the first Chairperson of Mobile Innovation Forum of GSM Association, London, representing 700 operators and 2.3 billion subscribers. She is also the Asia Pacific President of Global Telecom Women’s Network. In 2004, Ms. Villanueva was named Woman Entrepreneur of the Year in the Entrepreneur of the Year program, conducted by Ernst and Young, Department of Trade and Industry, Philippine Stock Exchange, Bankers Association of the Philippines and the Philippine Securities Exchange Commission.

CUEWB's International Forum, Beijing is themed Success: Vision & Action. Open to over 1,000 students selected from the top universities in Beijing, the forum is aiming at providing the opportunity for students to hear speakers from outside who can give their view of China, and of what it takes for young Chinese people to succeed in today’s globalised world. In addition, CUEWB is also hoping to promote the educational and cultural exchange between China and the UK.

With Ms. Villanueva joining to speak at the International Forum, Beijing, CUEWB believes that the student audience will broaden their minds on partnerships outside their borders in technology transfers and services in the new generation of Internet and mobile services.
