Cambridge Universities Education Without Borders (CUEWB) will hold International Forum, Hong Kong (IFHK) in collaboration with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and AIESEC on Saturday, 6 November 2010. Following the success of CUEWB’s “Success: Vision & Action” series of international forums in Beijing, Xiamen, and Cambridge, the Hong Kong forum will provide an opportunity for 250 university students in Hong Kong to hear five world-class speakers who will give their view of the education and business life in the 21st century, and of what it takes for young people to succeed in today’s globalised world.
This forum is open to all university students in Hong Kong. If you are interested in attending the forum, please complete and submit this registration form to apply for a ticket. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, 20 October 2010.

Cambridge Universities Education Without Borders (CUEWB) will hold International Forum, Cambridge (IFC) on Saturday, 7 November 2009, by kind invitation of Prof. Michael Thorne, Vice Chancellor of Anglia Ruskin University (ARU). This is the 3rd CUEWB international forum in the "Success: Vision & Action" series. Open to university students worldwide, the forum will be a great opportunity for you to benefit from the knowledge and experience of the five renowned speakers.

Congratulations on making on to the Shenzhen Summer Student Programme 2009 (Shenzhen SSP09) crew! You have demonstrated outstanding potentials to make positive contributions to the programme. We hope that you will accept our offer and join us in an exciting summer in Shenzhen, China.
The key expectations for the programme are outlined below:
Before arriving in Shenzhen:
- Attend two mandatory induction sessions in Cambridge, UK (dates TBA).
- Submit a complete and structured lesson plan outline, a complete set of lesson handouts for the Chinese students (in a form suitable for direct reproduction), and a list of required teaching equipment by 23 Jun. 2009. (You can view the lesson plan details here. Note that there will be up to 100 Chinese students divided into 5 classes.)
- Attend mandatory induction sessions from 20 Jul. 2009 to 24 Jul. 2009.
- Teach up to 42 lessons (40 minutes each) in total from 27 Jul. 2009 to 15 Aug. 2009.
- Organise talks and extracurricular/sports activities for the Chinese students in the afternoons.
- Organise a joint performance for the families and relatives of the Chinese students at the end of the programme.
- Attend two interactive sessions (about 3 hours each) with some Chinese primary school students from another summer camp in Shenzhen.
- Coverage of accommodation and food for the duration of the programme,
- Transportation allowance of ¥3,000 CNY (~£300 GBP) on arrival,
- Living allowance of ¥4,000 CNY (~£400 GBP) towards completing the programme, and
- Two 40-minute lessons every week on Chinese language and culture.

The key expectations for the programme are outlined below:
Before arriving in Shanghai:
- Attend two mandatory induction sessions in Cambridge, UK (dates TBA).

- Attend mandatory induction sessions from 27 Jul. 2009 to 31 Jul. 2009.
- Teach up to 42 lessons (40 minutes each) in total from 3 Aug. 2009 to 22 Aug. 2009.
- Organise talks and extracurricular/sports activities for the Chinese students in the afternoons.
- Organise a joint performance for the families and relatives of the Chinese students at the end of the programme.
- Give three 40-minute talks and participate in a few workshops to advise the CICSNU students on British university applications.
- Coverage of accommodation and food for the duration of the programme,
- Transportation allowance of ¥3,350 CNY (~£340 GBP) on arrival,
- Living allowance of ¥3,000 CNY (~£300 GBP) towards completing the programme,
- Two 40-minute lessons every week on Chinese language and culture, and
- Two coffee vouchers every weekday during the programme.
